Wife's grandmother's lamp...and I just knocked it over and broke the shade. I have looked it over very thoroughly but I can't find any discernible markings. I need to find a replacement shade or entire lamp, but have no idea what to look for. Please assist me in my quest to not get yelled at. Thank you so much!!!!!

there most likely are no mark on the glass. do you happen to have any old photos that might include shots of the lamp and shade. it's hard to tell what the shade may have looked like from that small shard; but appears to be amber glass. so for a start you might try a google search for amber glass lamp shade and look thru the images. You'll also need to know the measurement for the shade diameter.

I dont have any photos. The shade is amber, and it is frosted white inside of the whole thing except the top that flares outward. the base of the lamp looks like brass, the body looks like wood. I believe this is the original shade so I thought I could find markings on the lamp to see what type of lamp it is, in hopes of finding the entire lamp. I looked hard but couldn't find anything.

Is there anywhere on the lamp that would likely have a name or maker's mark?
