This is my 100th posting so I decided to put this Dorrie Nossiter Bracelet and Earrings for this special post.
What can I say about these beautiful pieces, I'll let the photos do the talking.
Dorrie Nossiter was born in Aston, Birmingham 1893-1977.
Dorrie crafted precious Jewellery of her own designs in the English Arts and Crafts. Her work is known for her use of colour and floral and curature line using gemstones in motifs.
Dorrie was educated at the Municipal School of Arts in Birmingham from 1910-1915.
She lived in London where her work was shown in the Arts by four women exhibition at Walkers Gallery London. Dorrie would go on to exhibit there from 1935-1939.
Her work was sometimes confused with another Jewellery Designer Sybil Dunlop.

Beautiful set! Are the pale green stones chrysoberyls?
Hi Bluboi, no they are Peridot, moonstones and Rhodilite. Thanks for your interest and comment.
Very yellowish peridots... Bluboi could be right with chrysoberyls, not much sellers know this stone:

Mostly used in 18th century jewellery, often from Spain or portugal.
Dorrie used them:

Hi Kyra, I was told from the seller, who is well known in the Jewellery business, that the green stones are peridot.
The Chrysoberyl Does have a similar colour.
This bracelet and Earring are on Pinterest.
Thanks you Kyra, it is interesting that Dorrie Nossiter used both stones. I really do love her work.
Here is a bracelet clasp with chrysoberyls (or chrysolite):

I think I'll email the seller, it's really has me thinking that your right, many thanks Bluboi
I have had a email from the seller, he says they are peridot.

It's to easy for beautiful items such as what you have been showing. Have a safe & happy day
Thanks Zowie, I didn't comment on your comment above, I really don't know what as been happening. I'm sorry that people have left CW, I do hope after the dust has settled they will come back.
That's fine at first it was just a shock but I'm with you when all is said & done it's just words I'm just glad they left me alone as we all can do without garbage especially on this site I just don't see the need for it how can showing beautiful items cause a storm. Blah blah blah all over

Hi Elisabethan, I'm just going though my post and saw I hadn't responded. Thanks for your interest. I'm very interested in Dorrie Nossiter, I have posted a brooch of hers on my later post. I'm always on the look out for more of her beautiful work, they are hard to come by, I've just been lucky in buying another brooch of hers, I'll post it later when I receive it. Yet again thanks for passing by and commenting on this post. :-)
