I just received a pair of pale purple "doves?" with standardized "bubbles" and streaks within the glass bodies. They have "squigglies" along their tails and one has actual small bubbles in the tail.
(You can tell probably that I am not a collector)

The birds are about 7" high and 7" long, not identical but close.
The bases have no stamp or anything like that, just looks like its been cut off from a rod holding it.

The woman who owned them is now 102 years old and does not remember anything about them, but that probably makes them around 60+ years old, if not more.

They are in perfect condition as far as I can see.

I could not find anything like them on the internet and I've been doing a lot of looking. They look like a posting I saw of a duck on tracadero attributed to Barovier Toso. Also something like the Murano Art Glass birds pheasant I found on your site.

If you could just give me an idea if they are murano glass, and are Barovier Toso, or someone else, I would appreciate that.

They were donated for a "rummage sale" our non-profit association will be holding and I want to give the daughter a chance to "reclaim" them if they are valuable. Thank you for any help you can give us.

Cute but why put them up for sale if you wanted them. I see they have been put in the Murano glass site so that could be your answer there & trying to find a maker in that lot would be almost impossible unsigned. Good luck & have a great day.

      Nice pieces!! and Welcome.....

Just have an question -- Why do your Daughter to have a chance to reclaim them *IF they are Valuable* as stated. I am just wondering as you make it sound like you only want your daughter to get them first at the rummage sale IF they are worth $$$ - and so no-one has a chance to get them. I guess it was the way you posted (your words) made it sound a little Greedy, that's all. Just kinda rubbed me the wrong way....BUT I JUST GOT UP, and always a little moody till I get my first COFFEE in me.......................LOL. No bad feeling - just need Coffee!!

Not that it matters to me but........I think they are Very good items, In my opinion

Also we do not do valuations here......

Its not my daughter. The daughter is the one who gave them to us to sell. I don't think she knows if there is any value there (and really, neither do I, which is why I was asking).

So if the birds are worth something, she should have the opportunity to get them back or be sure she really wants to donate them to us.

They may be.....old. As the base show lots of good wear - which defines age
