I found this chair while I was away. It has what looks like a wooden peg at the bottom of the back into the seat. I see no visible screws or nails. The cane has been done before because I see visible holes under the bottom. Is this is new folk art home made chair?

I have some that have been in the family over 50 yrs. & always knew them as Appalachian. Not sure what you mean by the peg in the back of the seat or a purpose.

Three of the four pictures are of the same side and one doesn't show the underside except a glancing view which shows nothing. Better pictures and an explanation of the peg you see would be helpful.

Agree....more pics, all sides, and bottom

You RV ? If so -- lucky you!!

Do you have some pics of those old grey metal stream-lined trailer models? I can't think of the name ATM.....Those are collectibles too.....lol

Sounds like Rose is talking about the air streams. Oodles of them here in FLorida.

Thank you Blunderbuss2, fhrjr2, Antiquerose, and fhrjr2 - my master teachers! There are lots of old and new Airstreams on the road. Our small Winnebego on the left, second photo. My husband is disabled and it helps us travel more efficiently. I am posting better photos! Thanks so much

I should have stated that my husband is a disabled Veitnam Veteran - I do not know why I did not say that before. Our family is very proud of him and all Veterans who have gone before and after him. I will take a picture of the of the Airstreams. They are lovely, old and new ones, and I think they stay clean looking - some are real antiques!

Fhrjr2, our regards and thanks for your service! He spanned Nov67-69June based in Hawaii (ha), but spending about 3 months in country, one month somewhere else, and then back. 68 was a rough year - I tried not to watch the news and propaganda!

Regards to your Husband too.....Proud of Each and Every Veteran that served in Wars. My DAD was with Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) for WWII.

Thanks -- Nice to see some old Air Streams posted.
