Another of Telechron/GE's fantastic cyclometer clocks, the Grenada was available in brown Bakelite or with a two-tone black and maroon Bakelite case, like this. Although the design of the Granada is unattributed, its great similarity to the Walter Dorwin Teague designed 8B07 “Baron” strongly hints that he had a hand in the design of this clock as well. Produced between 1938 and 1942.

telechrons own website info lists this model as being manafactured between 1933-1938, where that conflicts with your dating. Which is correct?

      Hi Darrell,
The guy that operates the telechron.net website keeps a master list of all Telechron clock models produced, production dates, and numbers shipped. That's where my info comes from. According to the list, the Grenada was introduced on Aug. 12, 1938. Production ended on June 18, 1942. 26,524 clocks shipped, originally retailing for $7.50. Pretty cool that he's got that level of information available. The 1932-1938 dates you reference are for the site's arbitrary 'Golden Age of Telechron.' Production dates varied for ea. model.
