A Royal Copenhagen characteristic vase 18 cm tall. It depicts this cloudy sea sight with a sailboat in front and another smaller behind. In contrast with my previus Charlotte Rehad post, this piece transmit a sensation of calm and piece, ad is a bit sad.
Royal Copenhagen (Den Kongelige Porcelainsfabrik) founded in 1775 under the patronage of the Royal House of Denmark, represented by Queen Juliana Maria, is one of the oldest porcelain factory in the world still in existence.

The production of porcelain vases "Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grondahl" is made exclusively by hand, respecting old traditions. During the production process a vessel passes through the hands of numerous craftsmen. After the first baking pots are decorated and enamelled manually; each of them is an unique work that bears the initials of the artist. After a new baking and a thorough quality control, the pots are ready to be admired throughout the world.

This vase is titled "Sailboat" and is identified by the code "2189/4756." The vase bears the mark of Royal Copenhagen, the Crown over three wavy lines, and the number of the artist so this vase dates from 1893 -1928. http://www.jamiri.dk/royal-copenhagen-mark.htm#2.

Hi - can you see a dot or line above or below one of the letters in 'Royal Copenhagen, Denmark'? That will give you the exact year the vase was made.
