The general feeling is this is a shed-built box, drilled in the manner of a crib board, but for what game I've no idea. The interesting bit is the plate, which may have been cut down from a larger item, and seems a genuine Bass item. The curator of the Brewery Museum collection in Burton on Trent has drawn a blank on this item.
