Could be from the Middle East. Gallipoli maybe. Made of gold and silver. Has space for photos inside. No glass cover. Looks handmade. Inside middle offront cover is a jagged hole. There are no distinguishing marks on it as it appears homemade.
What are the marks showing it to be gold and silver? You can post four pictures so the back, inside and marks would help.
To me it looks like Victorian 9ct gold applied on silver locket.
More pics as other said would be useful, you can upload up to four, using the edit item button!
No tradesmans marks on it as it appears to be homemade. I have looked for a similar design/pattern, to no avail. The soldier that owned it fought at Gallipoli but also served in Europe - could be Russian/Jewish.
kyratango Saw one of the markings on 1800s Victorian silver sterling locket. Thanks for the tip.
English, Victorian. No doubt. It's slightly in the Ascetic style. It's usual to have no marks. I collected this type of jewellery for years.
