Let us have some fun in regards to finding out some history related to this lamp as well. Not familiar with this sort of thing. The glass portion on top is about 10 1/2 inches in diameter. It is about 25 inches tall with everything on it seeming to be complete and works perfectly turning on and off as it should.
The only writing on it that I can find is a a 15371-2 stamped on the bottom. A magnet does stick to the top metal part of the lamp, but not the bottom. Any, and all, feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and have an awesome remainder of the week! :)
Your lamp base is made by Durand and is known as crackle glass. It would have had a fabric type shade when new. The tulip shade on the lamp was added at some time....very nice.
Thank you so much for loving this lamp agh, walk, try, and moonhill. It is greatly appreciated! :)
I really appreciate the information moonhill. You are awesome. Thank you. One more question. Do you have any idea around what year this would be from? Early 1900's? I guess the top and bottom may be from different eras. Thanks again in advance and always wishing you and your family nothing but the best! :)
I 'm not sure when it was produced, my guess, around 1920-1940? Google Durand art glass co. you will find the information. I have the same lamp but in pale pink.
Awesome. Thank you once again my friend. Have a blessed remainder of the day! :)
