My father left me this bottle of Chianti - he collected decanters of all sorts. It is a product of Italy distributed though New York. I have no idea what year it was produced or what it is worth as mine is still sealed, never opened. I'm sure it's a nice strong vinegar by now. If anyone has more information on this bottle, I'd sure like to know about it.

I have the same bottle. My aunt who purchased hers bought it during the 1950's from probably an Italian part of Brooklyn and unfortunately my Aunt Vincenza can no longer give me more details. I inherited it and I plan to display it in a friends liquor store nearby with hopes a collector will want it.
Mine too, is filled with what would now be vinegar LOL. It has good childhood memories for me.
