Found this chair in Kentucky at a second hand store. I know nothing about it and it has no tags. It looks hand made and I can't find any nails. There are small holes where you would think the nails would be like needle like nails were used. The chair is very sturdy and well made. Any information would be appreciated!!

Fondini, I don't know anything about the chair except I know it's beautiful! I have something similar to it in my spare room that was my grandmothers nice fine.

It's not technically a savonarola chair without the x-like structure (structure of left arm crosses into the right leg; right arm into left leg).

I think it's just one of those hybrids where the manufacturer mixed style elements together, like this one http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/148765-the-bug-chair

Anyone have any idea how old it could be?
