    This piece is one of my favorites but I do not know what it is. It is 8"x5.5". It has two stamps on the back down in my pictures. It did have a sticker on it that says 1800 I don't know if it's the price or year. Any info or translation would help..

      It's modern, and could just as likely be Japanese.

      Cranes and bamboo are symbolic of longevity, probably why the old man is shown greeting the birds (which mate for life). The blossoming tree branch is indicative of spring.
