Jaeger-LeCoultre remains one of the premier, luxury watchmakers of Switzerland. It is a 'manufacture', meaning it makes its own mechanical watch movements, instead of just buying them. So, if it's not fake, you have a watch that's worth more than a few bucks.

That said, what watch collectors seek are rarity and 'complications' in the mechanical movement. Based on its face, there are no complications in this watch (i.e., there is no alarm, stop watch, repeater, etc.). The miniaturization of the movement may still be a complication if it's considered advanced for its time. You should ask at one of the specialized watch collectors forums on the web. (Warning: men's watches are the focus, not ladies'.)

What a great bargain you got... For a few dollars a 14K watch. Awesome.

Beautiful! I have a weak spot for old watches.
