Any info please on the floor lamp

Would love info on this lamp. We purchased it from a friend in the early 80's and were told it was very old. No markings except for a number on the shade numbered 3089. It stands roughly 5'6" tall and has a 3 click setting knob for a tri-light bulb. The family we purchased it from moved to our area from Halifax in Canada.
