Here's a couple more brooches from the Salvation Army lot I posted yesterday. Another large rhinestone cluster and a smaller gold tone medallion with a "fleur de lis" detail. Again no maker's mark and probably from the 40's to 50's. -Mike-
Love these beauties, too, both of them! :)
Thanks Katherine :) Just when I thought I was over my costume jewelry phase all these showed up. Hooked again !
Thanks Ken :)....boxes and boxes
Boxes and boxes sound great!
It's wonderful to sit and go through them and rediscover gorgeous things like these. I'm particularly partial to the fleru-de-lis.
It is Karen :)....I do reorganize from time to time when I pick up another nice jewelry box. You actually forget what you've bought believe me. I've probably posted less than half of what I have. Those one or two pieces a day really add up after a time !
Beautiful! Mike it feels like you've been holdingbolag back - please post more of your jewelry! I would love to see them! I'm hooked on jewelry bad and I enjoy my addiction :)
My phone is playing tricks on me. It's supposed
to say 'holding back'.
Thanks Elisabethan :)...... holding back... well maybe just a bit. Jewelry needs a macro function on the camera which I don't have to get the best pictures. These are good enough to get the point across but some pieces just don't photograph well. Still I'll give it a go and see how they turn out. Thanks for asking .
