Pedal car, Ferrari?

Hi
Looking for some help to ID this pedal car.
We think it is built by or for Ferrari, it has the Horse imbedded in the metal of the gas cap, but no other identification.
My Brother purchased this item in Lago Majore (?spelling?) Italy years ago.
