French Carte de Visite of a small, cute dog. This appears to be fairly old and I love it. I believe that I purchased this on line along with a dog painting.

Looks to be late 19th century-- I would put it in the 1870s.

Pet images are highly collected. Those with the owners are most common, it is much more unusual to find just the pet.
