Hi all,
I'm the owner of a vintage blog called vintagewiki (www.vintagewiki.com) and I write articles about cool vintage items.
For this post, I specifically want to provide you with more information on the owl money boxes.
These owl money boxes are produced by MK-Tresmer Oy (manufacturer in Finland).
MK-Tresmer Oy used to have another name, MK-Tuote Oy, before the present owner bought the company and changed the name to MK-Tresmer Oy in 1989.
The company has been producing money boxes since 1959 when the company was established. The money owl money box has been in production since 1975.
These money boxes were originally produced for the Nordic Union Bank, used for marketing purposes. They came in different colors and sizes.
It seems that other banks/companies also have used these owls for their marketing, as owls with different logos/text show up.
Please read the full article on http://www.vintagewiki.com or check my facebook page http://www.facebook.com/vintagewiki - Thx for reading!
