I found this at a thrift store and I am unsure of its origins. The Smell of the cedar is what made me want to buy it.
I believe it could be dolhouse furniture or maybe even a sales sample. Any help identifying would be appreciated.
14" tall by 12" wide and 5.5"deep. It looks like it had 3 drawers but ony 2 are with it now. Only one coat hanger remains, but it looks as old as the piece.
Interesting that you smell cedar in this. It has been stained or sealed inside and out which kills cedar natural odor. It has mag catches on the doors and the hinges are over gained. I would sooner think it was homemade for a loved one as a gift. I would be the first to agree it may be doll furniture but no company would put this out as a display model with a salesman.
Evidently it is dollhouse furniture made by American Heirloom Collection.
I pulled the drawers out to check and it is completely stained but yes, It does have a cedar smell.
