    I purchased 4 plaques at an estate sale. Shown are 3; the 4th is being examined at my local museum. Each plate is 9" x 6" and weighs about 1 1/2 lbs. I am not sure of the composition but appears to be heavy enough to be some kind of stone.
    Anybody have an idea about the history, dates, composition of these fashion plaques?
