    This was found in an old sewing box and no one knows what it is. It is about 3" - 4" long - the body is layered, the "Arrow" head is attached to a metal shaft and appears to be attached.

      Is the yellow end about the size of a 'notch' on a pattern?

      I think this is a point turner for small work that has been sewn from the back. Different angle heads for different shape points. Used in quilting when separate padded piecespecially are made individually and then sewn together.
      Could be wrong though!
