    Said to have been purchased in 1953 for my father by his mother. he was a year old. it is now in mu attic and i have never seen its equal. there are no identifying marks or tags to be found. red vinyl upholstery, wood frame on a wood base spring mounted.

      What!!!!..a very cool chair, I would give it downstairs space any day..looks really comfortable!....love it!...welcome to CW...:-)

      after further research apparently it was originally green, but a relative reupholstered on in the late 50's. have narrowed its retail origin to either sears, pennys, or goldblatts. need to dig a bit deeper.
