Hello,everybody
This is another piece from my Niemen's collection (cat.no 1078)
Mould blown, then grinded, made before WWII.Quite heavy - 1,12 kg.
This is of really good quality, precisely cut by a good maker.
Thanks for looking.
beautiful!!!!!
Thanks Sean and aghcollect:)
That is a beautiful piece of cut glass Ivonne! There is a lot of cutting to get ribs that deep. It is gorgeous.
Thank you Vladimir,valentino97 ,racer4four,PhilDavidAlexanderMorris,sklo42,mikelv85 ,surfdub66,vetraio50 and fortapache for your loves:)
Thanks Rick55 and kivatinitz for the loves:)
Ivonne - this reminds me of a decanter set I have recently posted, do you think you could have a look and let me know if it is ringing any bells for you? Thanks.
Ian,it really has similar cuts like your decanter set but your set doesnt occur in Niemen catalogue.Niemen glassworks drew inspiration from other european glassworks and their production is usually derivate (hope none of Niemen collectors reads this;I'd be stone to death for such statement LOL).Your decanter makes me think of Belgian glass, especially Val St.Lambert and this is the only bell I can hear.
