I picked up these porcelain Coca Cola signs this weekend, one Saturday and the other Sunday, two different places. I dont typical go after any Canadian items but thought they were both good buys. The oval sign, about 4ft wide, is the result of staying in contact with a seller two weeks after seeing it at a swap. The push was also found at a swap sitting in a tin bucket along with a acl bottle thermometer.
This is only the second palm push in my collection from this style of pushes. I like how they easily fill in a small space between signs. The oval sign is double sided and I would like to find an accurate way to display it but I am not sure how it was presented. The seller seemed to think it was a type of lollipop sign because the holes go all around the perimeter. I think it may have just been on a bracket with some sort of perimiter frame. It may just also be part of a larger sign setup. I notice the similar rectangular signs in the book also have the same holes around the perimeter. Any thoughts? Happy hunting.
Great finds! Door kick guard? Not sure but porcelain and double sided really adds to it. Good luck finding a way to display it

Doesn't make a difference what language....good deal on door push and sign...translates well!
The Big Oval is a beauty and excellent door push. Nice to see the appropriate trademark detail. I see a lot of the pushes without it, leading me to believe there are a lot of fakes out there. Nice authentic ones like yours are hard to find at a decent price.

Yeah I will probably end up making a bracket. The bracket on that ford sign is interesting 50s. Nice find on the original bracket Trey. I know for sure I want to duplicate a type of original, luckily I'm capable of fabricating one up. I will have to repost once I do. Thanks for comments everyone.
