This large glass vase was received as a wedding gift in 2003. (not mine) It is very heavy and is approx 15.5' H and 9.5" W at the widest point. Looking inside of it, it has a very blue tint, not gold at all. The outer layer of glass is clear. In some lights, the vase looks blue in photos. Reminds me of the "is this dress blue or gold" that was being talked about a few weeks ago.
I'm trying to find out who made it. It only has 1 sticker "Made in Italy". No other markings anywhere I can find, and I've looked high and low!
I would think it might have a little value, this was a high falutin' wedding! You never know.

The sticker "Made in Italy", would not be found on a piece of Murano. It's a strikingly beautiful vase though!
Absolutely love this piece. It is very well made and has a look that I did not expect from Italian glass. Had this come from Murano I would not have been surprised.
