I think that my first inspiration to collect after glass were Antique books. I was searching something to post for Easter and remember I have this wonderful hymnbook. It is german, language I do not know and is so difficult with that gothic types to find exactly what is. I has been impressed in 1887 in Brunswick by Joh. Heinr. Meyer. It is written something like: New Testament Hymns, along with a brief prayer book for the public and domestic services. New Brunswik Hymns, along with a brief prayer book for the public and domestic services. Wikipedia says Braunschweig or Brunswick (German pronunciation: [?b?a??n?va??k]; Low German: Brunswiek [?br??nsvi?k]; English: Brunswick[3]), is a city of 250,556 people,[4] located in the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. The contrast of the golden copper cross over the deep purple velvet is wonderful and it is in perfect condition. The quality of the last supper printing is magnificent you can zoom the image to see the details. It is time to think in helping the other and to connect with ourselves.
Happy Easter to you as well Kivatinitz :)

Sylvia,I wouldn't be myself if I didn't want to know something about the book ( I'm a librarian, retired) and I 've found this http://www.abebooks.de/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=3278152965&searchurl=tn%3Dneues+braunschweigisches+gesangbuch.It's not in "Schwabacha" print ,so it is easier to read off.
