Art Nouveau Blue Glass and Gold applied artwork Rose Bowl is the title and as far as my research goes.
I can find those gold and blue Czech items that were so popular in the 21st century with dots or moriarge and painted flowers but not like this one where the style is so obviously 1880-90's period smack bang Nouveau.
So this time I'm asking for help from a Rose Bowl Nouveau period specialist please.
I love Rose Bowls. Satin ones, painted ones, applied ones. I've got a few now...totally impractical as they only hold 1 rose...lol...but I adore this one...
Final thing, bought from an Antique shop in Sydney by my seller. That's all she knows...
stunning!! very beautiful!!!
It is an absolute beauty Anne!
Thanks Karen. It is and it was one of Trudys glass which I think you saw...and I think you bid too? I'm glad I won it, its just so divine and pure Art Nouveau....
Thanks Sean!
It looks like the whitefriars molar pattern/shape vase but ive never seen a painted one .. great looking vase :-)
Now that's something to die for...what a beauty ! :)
To phrase Sean, Stunning, absolutely.
Ok surf first, it's nothing like it, the whitefriars is a big chunky vase with I'd guess a clear casing over the top, my vase is fine and delicate glass probably no thicker than 3-5 mml max. Imagine a rose bowl vase surf, well it's exactly the same shape and size as these. Although interesting it looks more like a tooth molar than the whitefriars one does but thank you so much for trying.....
Thanks Mike for liking it so much. I'm not too sure if the vase is made by the same person who painted it. But I've never seen anything more art nouveau looking than this pattern...it's screams Liberty and Tiffany and all those great houses of the period....the artistry in the gold is truly beautiful. I'm in two minds whether to get it topped up with gold.its pretty good in most places but I'm unsure. I think I might...but the blue and gold together, awesome. I' d love now a green one and the red....I'm just curious to know who made it, not for value reasons because I will pass it on to the children..
Thanks Fran, again if I wrote up a list of the ppl that I would guess would like it, you'd be on the top of the list..it's a beauty but thank you :)

Thought I'd pop this one back up...does anyone know who might be my maker?
Thank you...Anne
Thanks Alfredo. I thought it might be a blank. You're the second person to say Harrach.
Thank you for taking the time to come in and discuss my question in relation to this case.
