Easter Island

I got these pieces from an estate sale. The women said their mother traveled to and collected items from Easter Island. Also their grandfather was a former California Governor and US Senator. I have seen the large statues from Easter Island but never this size. It is about a foot tall and made from sort of volcanic stone.

The bird is made from a very heavy wood.
