1920’s Art Deco Compact Rouge Powder Dance Purse

Gilt metal tango vanity with Deco motif in enamel on the lid done with vibrant enamel colors over a black Bakelite background. The contour of the box instead is done with curves that makes one remember the Russian cathedrals, a strange contrast with the Deco panel. 9 cm x 4 cm. Marked “Alemania” (not Germany). When open inside there are a mirror and two compartments one for the compact and other for the rouge or carmine or lipstick. All the pieces are marked with and letter O (I think to denote that they are gold cased) and after the mirror and antique piece of paper written in German appeared.
