So this is ABCG, of indeterminate maker and pattern. Sadly, the three fans are chipped all along each ridge, a total of twenty four ridges, all chipped, mostly flea bites. I'm told it would cost more to repair it than the piece is worth, more's the pity. So why am I sharing it? Because, even though this glass is marred, its beauty is undeniable, truly a glorious piece of glass from the early Brilliant Period. Thanks for looking.
Thanks for the love, PatSea, and mikelv85. :)
Still beautiful!

I have an identical bowl with 6 smaller bowls. If you look carefully on the bottom
of the bowl you will see a small 3 leaved clover with initials (very small but looks
like a C G C etched into the crystal. It is very beautiful I have not had any success
finding out anything online with the mark I describe here. T Hawkes has a shamrock sign but this one is different. If anyone knows about the shamrock please comment. Thank you
BlueIris, the hallmark you are describing is from Gundy-Clapperton Company, out of Toronto, Canada.
BlueIris, your comment inspired me to check my bowl again for a hallmark and I couldn't find one. Where is your hallmark located? A picture would be helpful. Also, look very closely at my bowl and yours to make sure the pattern is identical. I'd be very interested in hearing that my bowl is GCC.
Is that the back of your bowl on the R of page ?
If so it is not exactly like mine on closer inspection. The stamp for GCC is
on the back -look at a spot which has no cuttings close to where the bowl actually
"sits" on the table. I almost missed it. Good luck with yours, it is always good to be
able to identify valuables.
Yup, looked all over and couldn't find any markings. I was pretty sure mine wasn't like yours, but you never know. Is your bowl posted here, if not, would be interesting to see it.
Thanks for the love, freiheit. :)
Thanks for the love, Manikin. :)
Thanks for posting this. I have a piece I've been trying to figure out. And you know most don't care about flea bites in a piece if you're really looking for the beauty. I think. :)
OneGoodFind, I'll take a look at your page and see if you've posted the glass you mention here, if not, please post it, I love looking at ABCG! :)
Katherine, mine is an ashtray that I've had for years. I don't know if its ABCG or WXYZ. I was going to look for it to try and learn but, I'll post it here in a few just for you. :)
