It looks like the origin is the South Pacific. That appears to be a tropical wood. It's not a shape of boat or canoe associated with the Pacific Northwest.
Even the writing looks like it is Polynesian. I can't make out all the letters, but HUI means a group or club, or to join together in Hawaiian and Maori, and AMA is an outrigger or part of a canoe, and used in several Polynesian languages, if that helps at all.
