I always wanted one of these but the price seemed way out of line, I finally found one in good shape at a good price so I picked it up. The cord is burned off, but since I don't smoke, it's no big deal, and it would only take a couple of minutes to repair if I wantred! I have to confess, I got it because of the way it looks under the blacklight! The 4th pic includes a bit if one if my depression lamps to show how bright the lighter looks.

Hi Upstateny, fabulous, I'd never have guessed it was uranium. Its made me question my answers on Hedges uranium game :)
It certainly glows under blacklight. I take a UV flashlight (as well as a regular LED flashlight) when I go hunting, and I find stuff that way. Sometimes things you never would expect to glow are very bright. Often I just shine the UV light over a whole shelf of glassware and see what jumps out.
