This is another vase that I bought but didn't really care for when it arrived and decided to sell. As with my diaspora vase , for which I felt the same way, I've grown to love it. It's made by Rindskopf in their striated décor and called a Dunkleviolette (dark purple) vase. It has a bulbous base with 3 thumbprints which tapers into a cylinder and finishes at the top with four leaves (quatrefoil). The surface is beautifully textured with striations of green, blue, purple, silver and fuschia all against a deep purple ground. It's a nice size standing 9 1/2" tall. As always, thanks for looking.

Beautiful piece Rick55 -- Funny how our love change with glass!!
Nice Rick :) ... I love the proper names for all the Euro art glass they are quite a mouthful sometimes and so regal sounding......"dunkelviolettes" German words can be amusing. I'd probably call it my "dunkin donuts" vase...lol .
Thanks Rose, so true huh? My taste seems to change every year... err maybe month... O.K. O.K. week lol. I agree Mike, dunkelviolettes sounds so much more refined than "dark purple" right? Thanks for your comments, and thanks for the love Karen, Smiata, Colori, Rose and Mike, it's always appreciated.
I love pink and green together and on the dark ground they look even better.....just my cup of tea!
Thanks so much for the love and kind comment Peggy.
