This set is fashioned of Vaseline glass that is both crackle glass and has applied threading too. The fitters are 2 & 1/4 inches and are cut and not particularly well finished. I have included shots using a uv source as well as day light. For those who like to see the glow. There is also an image which shows the craquelle and the threading quite well. Thank you for any interest shown and of course all comments will be appreciated.
    Sincerely,
    Lisa

Really beautiful, don't you just love lighting items? I collect old Victorian gas fixtures and always marvel at the beauty.

Thank you, I am glad that you enjoyed seeing it. Inky, Toronado, Sean, Rick, Walksoftly, Vetraio, argcollect and Sklo. Does it ring any bells for anyone? I am some what familiar with the Art Nouveau shades of Loetz, some Kralk, some Pallme Konig and Habel but most of those that I have owned were not this age. Does anyone know where I could see shades of these companies so that I can learn about the fitters? That is all there is with shades that puts you on the right track. Aside from actually finding your shade in a catalogue reprint. I have had great luck with Phoenix glass shades of the 1800s by using such a catalogue.
I can also sort out American Art glass from Steuben, et al without too many sleepless nights. The bohemian shades though, are such a mystery. Any advice will as always be most welcome.
      Sincerely,
      Lisa
