After 40 years, I am FINALLY going through my Grandmother's Estate Boxes... She passed when I was only 9... I ADORED her... now, she has reached through time to share a love of 'turn of the century glass and art' What beautiful things I keep finding! I just love researching them...
This is a Cameo Acid Etched signed by Galle' vase.... I have more information but I can't find my research notebook this morning... please forgive me!
Sweet! it seems to be tiny, what is the size?
Impatient to see more of your grand-Ma's :-)
Awww Thank you....kyratango.... I am happy your impatient to see more.... my kids eyes glaze over with boredom when I start showing them pieces and telling them the History! HOORAY I have found my collection afflicted people!! The vase is tiny about 4" and very heavy for its size.... I have the exact measurements in a research notebook.... I'll have to find that!!
Be careful, if your children got bitten with collecting virus, they will spent ALL their money buying stuff and will end in the street, haunting dumpsters ;-))
My grand-mother passed one to me too:
