I love vintage hankies especially if they come in tiny plaid boxes with embroidered Scottie dogs. My favourite thrift shop often offers such hankies for 25 cents and I say..."yes!" These are NIP with original folds...
I remember these type of hankies from when I was a kid when we hated carrying them around. They always seemed to get lost
haha.....yes lost or dirty.....I mean really? who wants to use such an item and then drag it around all grimey. Guess that's why Kleenex got so very popular. I still love them though and have some that I have kept for 60 years. Every once in a while I wash them and starch them and press them and look at them.....have started buying old wicker sewing baskets for storage of the hankie collection.
