This stove measures 21 1/4"tall by 12 3/4" wide
[10"from the back of the stove vent to oven latch]
The plates on the top are cast iron and removable. My stove is missing the stove top plates. [I played with it as a child, my children, grandchildren as well... Oooops, who knew it was a collectable? Not, I!!]
The blue is enameled steel. The door with Karr Range opens for wood, The drawer at the bottom [missing in my model] would be for removing ashes. It has a vent with knob to control a damper inside the oven. It has a warming oven with a slide up door that opens and closes.
This model was made between 1921 and 1925. A children toy to cook like Mother or a sample for salesmen? I do not know, however it is rather heavy to be walking with?
I have seen aluminum reproductions before....
I have read prices as high as $3,000 to $5,000 with the original box.
