I have a MLP baby Glory that has me stumped I have looked on many sites and still have not seen one like it. She is the regular white, blue eyed unicorn, with a mauve and blue main, glitter shooting star symbol, but the tail is a dark pink plastic (like the grass we used to use for Easter baskets) 1984 made in Hong Kong.
I have done the shake test and pulled on the tail and It is the real one. Nothing rattles and the tail doesn't wiggle or pull out.
This Baby glory is from a collection of almost 100 that my daughter had as a young child (she is now 30) I don't really know much about them.
Thank you in advance for any info you can give me.
Kind regards,

Is he marked Hasbro on hoofs or some place ? All original were made by Hasbro
I had a antique booth but also sold vintage my Little ponies as they were a hot in 90's .
aprox 3 1/2" tall made by Hasbro in 1984 stamped on the bottom of the hoof, concave hooves. the other hooves have patten pending Made in and Hong Kong.
It is a original but I am doubting the tail is ? If for no other reason the red does not go with color scheme and I have never saw one with this type of tail . Wish I could help you more . Do you recall was it bought new this way ?
too many years ago to remember and way too many ponies lol But I'm beginning to think you must be right because I have searched everywhere and there is not another pony with this kind of tail. I was thinking it was original because I had read on one of these sites that if it rattles then the tail has been replaced or changed; and because this one didn't rattle.....
Thank you for your help :)
The rattle would indicate more a tail off another MLP but yours is not off another MLP and would not rattle . It was glued in . Maybe a id cut the tail off just like little girls cut their dolls hair . And a Mom gave him a new one :-)
that should say a Kid cot tail off :-) My K stuck lol
