This was on my fathers dresser... Grandparents were Czech... Great -Grandfather was Bohemian... [insert song Bohemian Rhapsody here]
Other than that... I don't know anything except my Grandmother was an awesome glass collector! She attended the World's Fair wherever it was held.
I use to just assume it was from Murano.... but now I'm not sure?

So it is cut as well?
Could well be Scandinavian or Czech.
    2. vetraio50 vetraio50, 10 years ago
Could you take a photo of the base? That will help.

Another photo of the cutting on the vase would be interesting.

A thought though ..... if it is not cut but an internal decoration ... could it be Riihimäen lasi Oy Nanny Still ?

I've got a feeling I have seen this before Vetraio and it was Czech.
Can't remember who - hopefully someone else will.

I will take a photo of the base but it looks like it was cut all one big piece... I know its over 50 years old as it sat on my fathers dresser my whole life!

      Really chunky then !!!

I'm equally confused to be honest.
I'd go with the Czech idea with that cutting definitely now .....

      I love MYSTERIES !!!!!
