Plate is 9" and has a wonderful story of a harbor town bustling with people. City is off in the short distance. Possibly a German Town
There are numerous #'s and the V B M mark. Predominant #'s are
incised 1044 and #5757 with 34 underneath....Anyone who might want to share any history such as age of this plate and what the different #'s might stand for please and thank you !!

A wonderful plate.
According to pm&m (porcelain marks & more), a great resource for German porcelain, so long as you know the maker’s name, your mark was used between 1893-1914. The initials are probably the artists, the 1044 the mold number
