I purchased these two chairs at an estate sale. However, I was unable to find any markings or indications on who the furniture maker is. Does anyone know the history influence or time period of these chairs? Thanks!

      1960's, I'm thinking.

Ditto....We had something similar with a couch and chair. Bottom was solid, but the arms scooped out like this. See if I can find some pics here in daylight

Have same two chairs. In bad shape. Needed refinishing. Mine have brass sunbursts on the front. Couldn’t tell from pictures if yours did too. Have been told they are Empire reproductions from the mid 1900’s. Did yours have straps under seat cushions? If so, were they leather or jute? Would really appreciate an answer to that so I can complete the refinishing.
