To be an informed buyer or seller of "Bradley Mickey watches, you need to know there was never a Bradley Mickey before 1971. I've been seeing several listings for 1940's through 1960's Bradley Mickey watches and clocks....NO WAY POSSIBLE !!!!!
From the conception of the Mickey Mouse watch in May of 1933, Ingersoll held the marketing and production rights of Disney characters watches. In January 1971, they gave up those rights and Bradley Time(Division of Elgin). jumped right in and was awarded the Disney contact. Bradley produced several different depictions of Mickey mouse, This is one of those many depictions(First style pocket watch). They also gave them a "retro" look and moved the seconds back into a sub-dial configuration. The watch fob could be purchase separately.
Thanks for looking and hope this has been informative and something that's put a smile in your heart.

Wow, this is a very nice watch for a mickey mouse fan. Did you have this since the 1970s or did you buy this at a later date? Nice watch overall though, its definitely a piece of history in your hands here. Thanks for sharing.

Notorious, I've had this since the 1970's, I have a few different ones in my collection, This one is the introduction of the Bradley watches. Thanks for the complement and stopping in.

Great watch:) I wonder why Ingersoll passed it over to Bradley in 1971.
Thank you Trey, The general consensus was Ingersoll/ Timex thought Mickey had run his course and sells on those were down, and wouldn't rebound........ oops.
oops, before the "grammar" patrol catches it...."Sales" not sells
