I recently found this watch, that was given to me by my grandpa. Im not to positive on its exact name but what I know from minor research and just by looking at the watch that it was manufactured in september of 1986 and its a quartz made by timex. If any knows the exact name of it that would be great. Happy collecting and when I come across more vintage watches I will definitely post more. And the number stamped on the back is 21 just in case anybody was wondering or couldn't see it in the picture.

I don't think Timex wouldn't have given this a full "Named" title. Would have been advertised and marketed as a Men's Quartz . These were introduced around the mid 80's timeframe as you've already determined in you research. Timex would title pieces as per character of function, has been my experience..... Example...Indiglo, Men's calendar, ect. Nice watch and welcome to CW

I don't mind your watches I recently put some vintage ones down the other day if you would like a look dating back with one at least to the 1960's sometime.
