These two vases are amongst my favourites. I like the vivid yellow interior which shows through the rich dark red on the outside.....rather like marbling. They are then cased in clear glass. Vivid yellow may seem an unusual colour for Rindskopf yet these are not the only example I have of them using this colour.

The silver rims are fully hallmarked and in good condition. Though of different weights the glass is in perfect condition.....someone looked after them!

All three pieces are beautiful!I must admit i'm constantly amazed by the amount of beautiful Bohemian glass you can get in Britain and the USA.I think it is caused by large export in 19 th and early 20th centuries.I'm following Czech auction sites, but even there there isn't so much glass! You're lucky!

Your comments are very interesting, Ivonne. It isn't often you get a comparative view of collecting possibilities from another E.U. country. Having seen the lovely glass you have posted here I'm surprised, but I don't doubt your assessment. I guess that manufacturers, of whatever epoch, opt for the most profitable market in which to sell their products.
I've not, previously, considered it lucky to be a glass collector in the UK, but I will in the future. Peggy

Thanks, Rick, I do too and think of the combination as Art Nouveau meets Art Deco!

If you have a UV torch, I am going to guess that this shade of yellow will actually glow orange under UV.... a glow caused by the use of Cadmium most commonly used to generate this shade of yellow glass.

      Great color combo on these.....

Thanks Craig, I particularly like these colours too. No UV torch!!!
