I have this Elgin Pocket watch that I discovered in a friend of mines home after he became ill and could no longer live alone in the home. I know very little about pocket watches, I know however that this pocketwatch is 14 karat gold. I went onto the official Elgin website and did some digging, and this is what the site gave me when i put the serial number in
