These 2 fabulous, unique paintings were painted by a member of my husbands family, sometime between 1914 to 1920, but the only one to know exactly by whom, etc.. would be my mother in law, who passed away 3 years ago.
They appear to be watercolor and possibly watercolor pencils. It is guessed that these may be a depiction of Wendy and Peter Pan in Never Never Land, but we all know that every picture paints a thousand words. We have the original narrow wood frames and glass as well. They were removed (by me) to wipe down the backs and throw away the border, as these are clearly very old and had been packed away in a box for many years. Next is finding the perfect spot in my home ~
Thanks all!
