A lamp from this weekends Auction.

So bought this at an auction this weekend. It is Brass but I have not found any marks yet. I did not replace the lamp socket but who ever had it replaced it but did a poor wiring job. The cord as best I can tell is original. The insulation is not modern. I added the harp and if any body has suggestions for a shade pass them on.
