Calling on the A&C experts! Any ideas on this necklace?

Elaborate 3-chain swag necklace with dangles, large emeralds (both bead and cabochon), natural pearls, diamonds and gold motif in 18K circa 1900; most likely custom-made, no marks to be found anywhere.

Spectacular piece and very unusual, I have no idea whose work it is, but it's an interesting style with a slightly Gothic Revival look.

Something about it says American to me, but that's just a gut feeling.

OMG!! Simply wow! Those rocks are unbelievable! I agree w/ Kiwipaul.. American, perhaps Tiffany? It is certainly of that niveau. Thanks for showing!

I agree, American. On the cusp of nouveau & arts & crafts. Really very fine work. It's amazing to think someone would make this but not mark it.

PS, so lovely to be sharing so much great arts & crafts.

Thanks everyone! Jewels, you may be right. It has an A&C feel, but the swags seemed of a different genre as I usually "think" of A&C as being less fussy. Is this true?

Yes, sad there are no marks, but if a custom order, I would assume there wouldn't be unless from one of the major studios.

i agree that this is more art nouveau jewelry than arts/crafts. way too fussy for a/c. but of course, they did overlap in time.
