I am looking to see if anyone knows what these are. I bought them at an Estate sale. I cant find any information. No idea where they came from or who made them.
Opposing matching pair.
I have found the same Monkey when googling monkey sconce.
It is very heavy stands about 18" not including the lamp shade.

I have one of these lamps bought at a furniture store in Thibodaux, LA about 20 years ago. We always wanted to go back for the 2nd one and never did. How much did you pay? If you don't mind me asking.
Hi,
I cant believe it, I have made myself almost crazy over these Monkey Lamps, I have no clue what they are even about. I paid #250 for each one, the owner tried to keep them but I guess what ever was going on they had to let them go. Do you know anything about them. I was going to post them on the Antique roadshow but my husband thinks I am crazy. gempamela@gmail.com Pamela
I bought one of these lamps at an auction in Hillsboro, Oregon, about a month ago. Paid less than $30 for it. There was only one of them, and he faces right. If there had been a pair, I'd have certainly bought them both.
Since1960 how tall is the lamp you bought? Mine are very heavy. Pamela
27" to the top of the shade
