Thought these were rather nice when I saw them at Salvation Army this morning. The Swiss Army watch is very substantial. The back says it's waterproof to 300 feet. The outer ring moves with definite clicks. Not sure what that keeps track of. I've seen some of the prices online and the high end ones say "Victorinox Swiss Army" this one does not. It's in nice shape but needs a new battery as it's not running. The Helbrose watch by Jules Jurgensen is a nice vintage piece. You will find these made in Switzerland, W.Germany and France. Jules Jurgensen-Rhapsody, Inc. is no longer open for business but they will still repair their watches and Helbrose watches. This one doesn't need it it though. It's self winding, 17 jewels, with day date windows, and West German made. It was running as soon as I picked it up and moved it around a bit. Wearing it right now. Fits perfectly no band adjustment necessary for either one. Eight bucks for the pair.. Awesome !! -Mike-
Awesome indeed, perhaps I should emigrate......
Thanks sklo42 :) .... I could say the same thing. I just love the glass you have that I could never find here. I can imagine the goodies at your car boot sales vs our flea markets.
Aaawwwesome alright!
Thanks Karen :)
Ha, Salvation for us, yeah you should swap our respective shopping area for one.
This could be interesting.
Nice find mike.

Thanks Alan :)...... Salvation's are aptly named. They always seem to have something when the other thrifts don't .
Thanks Ken :) ..... I was just going to buy the Helbrose and pass on the Swiss Army because I was told ten dollars for both. Then she said OK you can have them both for eight...lol.
